Thank you for choosing Cove. The Cove application ("App") is a social platform designed for travelers to share experiences, discover destinations, and build connections.
Before you use our services, please read our **Terms of Service. These Terms are designed to protect both you and us and to ensure the Cove community remains a safe and enjoyable space for everyone. By accessing or using the Cove App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and you fully accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the App.
1.1 Age Requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to use Cove. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors. If you are under 18, please do not use the App or provide us with any personal information.
1.2 Account Information. You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and to keep such information up to date. Creating an account using false information or the information of others is strictly prohibited.
1.3 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
2.1 Content Ownership. You retain all rights and responsibilities for the content you create, post, and share on our App, including photos, videos, text, reviews, and links ("Your Content").
2.2 License You Grant to Us. By posting Content, you grant Cove a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use, host, store, copy, modify, create derivative works (such as translations or optimizations), communicate, publish, publicly perform, and display Your Content. This license is for the purpose of operating, developing, providing, promoting, and improving the Cove services and related services, and lasts for as long as Your Content is publicly visible on Cove.
2.3 Your Responsibility. You represent and warrant that: (i) you own Your Content or have the right to grant the license set forth in these Terms; (ii) the posting of Your Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party; and (iii) Your Content complies with these Community Guidelines.
2.4 Prohibited Content. We are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe community. You agree not to post, upload, or share content that contains:
2.5 Content Moderation. We may (but are not obligated to) review, monitor, or manage user content. We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, could expose us to legal liability, or is harmful to the experience of other users. Repeated violations may result in the temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.
3.1 Payment Processing. Cove may offer in-app products for purchase (e.g., unlocking premium travel plans, tipping creators, or subscribing to membership services) (collectively, "In-App Purchases"). All payments are processed by your device's platform (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) or our designated third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). You agree to abide by the respective platform's payment terms and conditions.
3.2 Refund Policy. All sales are final, and payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law. As digital content is available for immediate use upon unlocking, refunds are typically not provided. Any request for a refund must be directed to the platform you used (Apple, Google, etc.) per their policies. If we determine a refund is warranted, we will process it on a case-by-case basis.

The Cove App, its original content (excluding user content), features, source code, databases, and design (including the "Cove" name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names) are the exclusive property of [Your Company Name] or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other laws.
6.1 "As Is" Basis. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6.2 Limitation of Liability. In no event shall Cove, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for using the App's services in the past twelve (12) months, if anything.
We may suspend or terminate your account or your access to the service at any time, for any reason or no reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and general provisions) will continue to apply.
8.1 Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State, e.g., Singapore / State of California], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8.2 Dispute Resolution. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be first attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. Your continued use of the service after any change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be restricted or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
